Still industrial life

Visiting this industrial site was quite an experience, specially since I managed to be totally on my own, just surrounded by this rough material, playing with shadows, puddles from yesterday's rains and the very strong light, unusual for October.  Inspite of the brutal appearance of the metal blocks, the place was extremely quiet. I enjoyed composing my pictures, like a child playing with a gigantic Lego.

Urban jungle, Geneva

One wouldn't recognise immediately Geneva streets in this pic, but having done a bit of exploration I realize Geneva is full of urban art. I like discovering new sites, some more artistic than others, but none of them leaves you indiferent.  Industrielle neighbourhood, Geneva

Night reflections...

Empty streets on a Monday night. Remor as a welcoming sign. One of my favourite cafés in Geneva, the Remor is an institution in itself. Decorated in old Parisian Café style, it is one of the only places where you can eat late at night. They have delicious cakes, specially an enormous Tarte Tatin to die for. Went there with a friend on a rainy night

Party time: Stéphane Ducret, Artist

Swiss Artist Stéphane Ducret at a party at the Manhattan Bar, Geneva. This has been a memorable party, best one in years,  with loads of champagne, good music and fun and friendly guests all dressed in 70's fashion. Amazing getting to know all these new folks. Thanks to Stéphan for daring being portraited by my mini Lumix.

Lumix Panasonic with flash, not the best gear for quality photos, but it was all I could press into my tiny bag.

Running in the park

A runner in the most beautiful park in Geneva. Automn is coming.

The Parc La Grange is the single largest green space in Geneva. It is famous for it's biggest rose garden in Geneva. Two theatre scenes offer plays and gigs from June to September. I was going to the last play of the season at the Théâtre de l'Orangerie and realized how the summer has gone and leaves start getting yellow...

Afternoon shadows at UNAIDS building ...

UNAIDS building by Austrian architects Baumschlager & Eberle is located in the former WHO park and in complete harmony with the 1960's main WHO building and the trees still present in the park. I like the lights inside the building enhanced by glass walls and inner courtyards with great luminosity. The outsite is playfull, a bit LEGO like and offers great shadows for photography.
